Our Sustainable Approach
All of the beans we roast and blend in our coffees’ are 100% Rain Forest Alliance Certified and we are also proud verified members of Bord Bia’s Origin Green.
Reusable Cups Have you seen our branded reusable cups? You can purchase one right here on our website. This is the perfect way you can help us to reduce waste and join us on our mission for sustainability.
Compostable Cups All of our takeaway cups are 100% compostable. Whenever you purchase one of our coffees in a takeaway Ponticelli branded cup you can be sure it is compostable. We are keeping an eye on the compostable market as we want to ensure we can keep providing the best quality cups that are also better for our environment.

Coffee Sacks
We have hessian sacks left at the end of each month. We give them to our customers or anyone who wants them. Please get in touch if you would like some to save them from going to landfill.
Fuel Consumption We have lowered our fuel consumption by using GLS logistics to deliver all our oders & some of our foodservice sales.This lowers our time spent on the road and reduce the emissions we produce.
Vehicles At present, we have one electric vehicle in our fleet, which helps reduce our carbon footprint. Being a busy commercial company supplying businesses throughout Ireland, the electric vehicles currently available on the market aren’t capable of meeting our demand. We hope that as technology advances we can change most if not all of out fleet to electric.
